Launch of Kohinoor

Join the Webrew Knight Club!

Kohinoor was launched at the brewery on May 1st with about 200 supporters coming along to our Open Evening.

Kohinoor is our second Jubilee beer, all of which will be inspired by Commonwealth ingredients. The “Kohinoor” is the large diamond in the Coronation Crown and we think this beer is a diamond of equal brilliance! A classic Indies Pale Ale, using Imperial Malt, Chinook, Simcoe and Pacific Jade hops, it has a light, dry bitter taste with jaggery sugar, jasmine petals, cardamon and coriander balancing the lemony hop character.

        Membership will include:

After trying about 300 pints of Kohinoor (and a few of the other beers for comparison purposes!) the consensus was it was ‘Another great Webrew beer’. Some of the other comments were: ‘Great beer for summer drinking’, ‘Easy drinking Ale’ and ‘Great balance - a well rounded beer’.

Once Upon a Time, to become a Knight you had to slay a fearsome dragon. Now it’s much easier....

Our new Webrew Knight Club offers special events, discounts and unique merchandise to members. Meetings will be held on the third Tuesday every other month from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. As well as enjoying our beers and chatting, you will be able to learn more about the brewery and tell us your ideas. We will also have occasional guest speakers and guest ales.

Our inaugural meeting will be Tuesday 17th July.

Membership will initially be limited to 120 members. To find out more about the Webrew Knight Club please either email knightclub@webrew.co.uk to request a leaflet or download one here
